Where do I even begin? So after posting my "Saturdate" post, I wasn't able to sleep straight away. It was like around 5am when I went to bed and I noticed that it was already bright outside around that hour. Summer is really here!
I had my alarm set to 9am because we had to do washing machine shopping and normal shopping, and have to be home before 3pm as my brother has work at 4pm. My alarm went off but I didn't get up till 10.30am (talk about being lazy) not like we don't have to rush...oops.
So we went to Harvey Norman at Oxley, surprisingly they have a huge sale going on. Mum was contemplating whether to get the $750+ washing machine that can load 8kg or the $570+, 7kg. The one we had was 7.5kg so I think mum wanted to get a bigger one. But I told her that we don't have to pay that much for a washing machine when in 5 years time, it'll be broken again and buy a new one. I explained to her that if she gets the $570, 7kg one, she would only spend $100 a year to do an entire year laundry, for 5 years. And I also told her that if she's getting the 8kg one, she'd have to pay $200+ just for a kilogram extra....which is bull in my opinion. I mean, mum doesn't have to load that much in one go anyway so 7kg should be enough for us. And so in the end they bought the $570, 7kg washing machine. Aren't I an awesome dealer?
We then went to Mt. Ommaney Shopping Centre to do the other shopping. I only had an hour and a half to do my shopping so I was in a rush to buy all the items I wanted for myself! My first stop was Valleygirl and I was looking for a proper corset top or like a peplum top which is a trend right now. Sadly none of the ones they have were my type. But on our way out, I found these sheer tops that comes in different colours and bought four of them for $10 each so why not!

I was going to buy a sky blue jeans from the same store but I was having doubts because I might be able to find something similar in other stores and probably even cheaper. I saw my friend, Bruna, in this shop too! Such a small world~ We just talked a little bit and promised her that I'd visit her place when she finishes her tafe which is soon!
I went to Ice after and found a long black skirt perfect for beach trips this season. I was also looking for proper tank tops, high quality cotton t-shirt (not just those that are paper thin and you can actually see what's underneath) with sleeves like from the men's shirt. Also I was looking for proper closed flats and open flats. I can't find any descent ones and I was getting super desperate! Why are the items for this season suck so bad?! Hurry up and bring out the summer clothing, not spring wear. I also was going to go inside a bookstore where they have a sale of $3 for everything! I was going to buy heaps of books but I'd need a new empty shelf for them. Plus I saw mum carrying a bag of books from the same store so I thought mum already bought and I should just save the money for now. Turns out they are just cooking books etc! Ugh! Mum, I need novels please.
On our way home, we bought Hungry Jack's for lunch since I haven't eaten anything and so is my brother. I also had a little fight with him because he was being an ass. I didn't wanna deal with him because I might just end up hitting him in public and make him cry and humiliate him... plus myself. Though honestly, I wouldn't care had that happened. Dad was trying to shut me up but I was like in my head, "No". Anyway, Dad bought a small LCD TV for me and my sister for us to use when playing Xbox or PS3. I can finally play Tekken without bothering my brother in his room every night. Now we have our own TV and console!
We also lost water AGAIN! I was shopping at Kmart when my auntie called me to tell me that water supply was cut off. We lost water last Saturday as well, for like 7 hours, without notice from the council at all! Maybe I should file a lawsuit and take it to the court for doing that twice. We don't even know what they're doing with our water....and no notice....like really!? What if I was taking a shower and then right in the middle the water has been cut off? /throws knives/
I think that's it for tonight? Maaaaaan, back to work tomorrow OTL /sigh/. Please let this week go quick! Hurry up Friday so I can have a Fridate with sis in the city. It's been a while since we've gone to the city for late night shopping.
I also have to buy lollies tomorrow for the kids on Wednesday because it's Halloween! Thanks for reading and have a great week!
